The brief for this was a self-guided brief, and needed to be concentrated on the area I wanted to go into after leaving university, music production. I have always been involved in music, playing the trumpet as a child, the guitar in a band as a teenager and then as a DJ since around the age of 16. After being so heavily involved in the drum and bass scene for the past few years it seemed a natural progression to move onto music production, so I set about creating the most euphoric, uplifting drum and bass tune I could after teaching myself in the space of a year using software like Ableton and CuBase, whilst also producing an accompanying light show that aimed to enhance the experience.
